Snow Days

This week we didn't have school at all week. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up on missing work assignments. I am glad we got out of school this week but also at the same time I am a bit disappointed because I know we are behind in my classes. It was a good break but now its time to get back to work.

My Thanksgiving Traditions

My Thanksgivings are always very fun and exciting! This year I got to see my sister and nephew. We had a great time making the feast and also just spending time together. My favorite part from my Thanksgiving break was playing with my nephew and watching the Macy's Day Parade with family. I had a great Thanksgiving break!

Planning My Game

My Team name is Jordan Fanatic and the team members are me and Mrs. Sheppard. I am glad we don't have to be in a team with other students in our class because it will be a lot easier to make decisions and come up with ideas. I am very excited to start working on my actual game!

Imaging My Game

My game is going to be a very fun, challenging strategy game where you will be asked a question and if you get it right you will get points from recycling and if you get it wrong you will get a fine for littering. My game will have many levels with probably 4 to 5 questions a level. I am excited to see the finished product!

First Scene Of Game

Doing the first scene of my game was quite difficult to get things just right, but after a while of playing with the tools it became clearer and easier to make things look good. I am pleased with the way it turned out and think the final game will look very good.

My Social Issue

The reason I am passionate about Recycling is because I think it is a very important issue that should not be overlooked. The reason I would like to put recycling into my game is because I think it would help kids learn order of operations while helping raise awarness of recycling problems. Learning math while recycling sounds like a great idea for a game to me.

Learn The Bones Game Review

Learn the bones is a puzzle game that teaches you the bones names and where they are.  I chose learn the bones as the best game, because it was a very fun and informational game. When I started the game I knew exactly what to do, it was very clear. I think this is very good game because you learn while having fun.

Math Concept and Social Issue

My math concept is the order of operations, The reason I chose order of operations is because I don't want my game to be too hard but also not too easy. My social issue is recycling,  I choose recycling because I think people not recycling is a big problem today. I think that my math concept and social issue together make a great combination for a game.
